The DGmag - Furby From The Deep: The Halloween Special 2020

 Issue: 71

Released: 22/10/20

Whooooooooo, and all that scary stuff that scary people say! It's only the 2020 Halloween DGmag. But this time with bizarre references to Doctor Who, Sonic Screwdrivers, and Furbys...

This cover is scary. Scary scary cover!

You're meaning to tell me, that if I just order myself a 649 Pat Pending ACME whistle
that it will magically become The Sonic Screwdriver? I never knew!

And that folks, is why we should always carry around spare loo paper.

I think somebody needs to have their battery compartment changed.

"Can't you see I'm in the middle of defeating a Furby Mandy?
You greedy cat you!"

"But but but...my grades!"

Insert baby eating sounds here.

Count Duckula; "Igor! Order another door!"

...Mona the Vampire?

"I'll take about ten sugars with that!"

This madness is madness!

And that folks, is why teddy bears shouldn't be trusted. Sure,
they look cute from the outside. But it's what's inside that counts.

The DGmag - Bring Out The Funny

 Issue: 70

Released: 29th August 2020

Hello DGmag readers. Notice anything new about DGmag? That would be correct if you have guessed rightly. I have indeed decided to draw my comics digitally. DGmag is now made using Procreate on an iPad Pro as well as PowerPoint for the main body structure. So now only some images and logos will be done in GIMP.

And boy what a difference my new iPad Pro makes. Doesn't the comic just feel slicker and better? The text too, can be altered and changed if need be in each strip. The main text used is one that I've built myself for my work and DGmag only.

The main look is still very much my style, but the new digital twist adds something a bit different that wasn't there before. The ability to copy sections of images, the ability to create a PNG image of a character. All things that originally weren't that possible unless I had drawn them in PowerPoint using shape vectors. But now, wow!

But what do YOU think? Do you like the new update to DGmag? Let me know by going to the comment section at the main DGmag website thedgmag.weebly.com, and leave your replies to the new look of my drawing style.

Enjoy. Dominic Davis your Editor

What a cover this is folks.

"Bath? What bath? Is that today?"

"Be careful sir. The cake is very hot!"

Careful that you don't get a square lightning bolt with that iPad now Jone.

Having a nightmare are we? Making yourself a hot chocolate now I see?

We didn't actually want to know that you needed a wee Hood,
but thank you for sharing that gross information anyway.

Ah yes. Flushing the loo too loud. That will get rid of your grandma for sure.

"And would sir like to try the expensive bottle of milk
to have alongside that hand of his?"

Perhaps one of the quickest baths ever taken.

The cue for the toilet at that cafeteria must be pretty long now.

"Doughnut fret now Collin! Have a Digestion biscuit and tell me all about it."

I suppose that puts a new spin on the term "ice tea".
